What a week SE Queensland has seen. The rumblings of dark, heavy, thick storm clouds enclosing the mountain. Hail, flooding you name it we have seen it. Although thankfully we haven't been as devastated as our neighbours not too far away in Brisbane.

After an extremely hot, humid day, hail the size of golf balls came down. Although that was exciting for the kids it was only a taste of what was to come.

After all was quiet and everyone had gone to bed the storm hit hard and fast. Rain bucketed down for many hours. The rain was unrelenting but by morning all was completely calm and waters had subsided as if nothing had happened at all. The only evidence was a few small branches and extra leaves lying around.
Stay tuned...we will post updates on the SE Qld storms soon.
